Nonprofit Program Overview

Pround Ground provides affordable housing to income qualified, first-time home buyers. Pround Ground sales prices range from $110,000 to $160,000. In exchange for an affordable sales price, buyers agrees to an appraisal based resale formula that ensures that the home is affordable to the next income qualified home buyer.

Admission requirements:

Must be a first time home buyer (has not owned property for 3 years) at or below 80% of the area median family income. Buyer needs to have a credit score of 620 or higher, a steady source of income and not be debt burdened. Household must be at or below 80% of the area median family income by family size. Typically buyers need to earn a minimum of $30,000/year to afford a Proud Ground home, unless they have another source of down payment. Types of properties that are eligible include condos, single family homes, new construction and remodeled homes.
